Inside of a venue in which we worked over the past 5 years, Colosseum Jakarta, our client gave to us the opportunity to make something different in a new 200 sqm room attached to the main 3,000 pax world class venue. The mission: To create a special space for those who wanted to enjoy techno music in a complete different environment. We received an empty room and we delivered an immersive experience of massive installation of single control laser diodes, thousands of LED dots hidden in a bespoke laser cut wall and a superb octopus paint in the lobby with some hidden characters that only appear when the UV light is on. Inside of the main room a huge “electronic circuit” kind of pattern giving you the sensation that your size was reduced as a tiny component inside of an electronic machine. All the paint art-works were made by our in-house artist. The design, supply, installation, programming and training for the control was also made by our team. We are grateful of having the chance of doing a project where we had fun, chance of doing something different, very techie but at same very artistic and handcrafted.
